In the dynamic world of reselling, staying ahead of the game often boils down to efficient inventory management. Central to this is understanding ETAs, which stand for Estimated Time of Arrival. But what exactly does this term signify within the context of the Reseller Portal at Randmar?

Decoding ETAs: What Do They Mean?

At its core, ETA represents the manufacturer's best estimate of when your chosen products will arrive at our warehouse. It's an invaluable piece of information that helps you plan your inventory, customer orders, and overall business strategy. However, it's important to note that ETAs are not set in stone. They depend on various factors, including the manufacturer's production schedules and delivery timelines.

Manufacturers often refrain from providing a 100% guarantee on these dates. This is because production and logistics can be influenced by a multitude of variables. Yet, despite the inherent uncertainty, ETAs serve as a crucial reference point in the reselling journey.

Finding ETAs on the Reseller Portal

So, how do you unearth the ETAs for the products you want to order within the Reseller Portal? It's a straightforward process once you know where to look:

1. Log in to Your Reseller Account: Start by logging in to your Reseller Account on the Randmar website.

2. Utilize the Search Bar: In the portal, locate the search bar and enter the Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) of your desired product.

3. Explore Product Details: If you discover that the product is currently out of stock, but you're eager to determine its ETA, click on "View Product."

4. Navigate to Inventory: Scroll down to the "Inventory" tab within the product details page.

5. Regional Warehouses: Here, you'll find information regarding our East (Montreal and Toronto) and West (Edmonton and Vancouver) warehouses. If neither of these locations has the product in stock, you'll spot an "expected day" listed under each.

6. No ETA Provided?: In some cases, you might not see an ETA indicated. This typically means that the manufacturer has not provided us with this specific arrival estimate. However, don't fret; there are still options available to you.

Back Ordering and Communication

In many instances, you'll have the opportunity to back order the product you desire. This means that the Reseller Portal will automatically reorder the item from the manufacturer on your behalf. However, please be aware that this process may involve a longer waiting period, as it depends on the manufacturer's production schedule and product availability.

In cases where you've placed a back order but no ETA is provided, you have the option to reach out directly to the manufacturer for clarification. This can help you gain a better understanding of when to expect the product to be in stock.

Taking Control with a Simple Request

Empowering you to make informed decisions is our priority at Randmar. That's why we've made it easy for you to influence the availability of products. On the "View Product" page, in the top right corner, you'll notice a button that allows you to request the manufacturer to stock more of a specific product. This simple step can have a significant impact on product availability, ensuring that you have access to the items you need.
